Education Evenings @ Radius – Providing Great Customer Service

Radius is committed to working with health practices to deliver the best possible care for patients in the region. In October our staff and guests participated in ‘Providing Great Customer Service for Healthcare Practices’, presented by Jen Flakemore.

– Support staff are the face of our healthcare practices. In an era of increasing competition where positive and negative feedback is freely posted online, there is a growing need to provide support staff with the skills to understand and deliver excellent customer service.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the session participants were be able to:

  • Understand the importance of the customer service role in working toward organisational strategic goals
  • Explain who their customers are, both internal and external to the organization
  • Explain the elements of good customer service and implement them on a daily basis
  • Define unsatisfactory customer service and what to avoid
  • Gain useful tips and strategies to improve performance and job satisfaction

Jen is the owner of Establish Practice support and is an experienced practice manager working in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. She manages an integrative healthcare clinic part-time, develops small Business Management and Human Resources units for an online training provider and has lectured in professional practice at a Melbourne college, and is now teaching the Diploma of Leadership and Management (healthcare) at Gordon Tafe. www.establishpractice.com.au
