Trusted Medical Imaging Services on the Surf Coast

RADIUS Imaging opened its Torquay location in May 2022, bringing the Surf Coast their first local ultrasound and interventional services. This latest addition joins our locally owned and operated RADIUS group, which includes the main clinic at Waurn Ponds and satellite clinics in Corio, Drysdale, and Lara, providing comprehensive outpatient medical imaging services to patients across Greater Geelong, the Surf Coast, and Bellarine.
The Torquay clinic now offers CT, MRI, digital X-ray, and ultrasound services. With radiologists onsite performing CT and ultrasound-guided procedures, patient reports can be completed quickly and, if urgent, made available the same day.
RADIUS has been providing bulk billed Medicare-eligible CT scans since 2015 and continues to offer this service at Torquay, in line with federal government reforms to ensure critical diagnostic imaging is accessible to regional and rural Australians. Bulk billed Medicare-eligible MRI services are also available.
The installation of the latest digital X-ray equipment reduces radiation doses for patients and ensures faster availability of images for referring practitioners. RADIUS accepts all valid imaging referrals, allowing patients to choose their preferred provider.
