RADIUS Imaging opened its Torquay clinic in May 2022, proudly bringing the Surf Coast its first local ultrasound and interventional imaging services. As part of our locally owned and operated RADIUS group, the Torquay site sits alongside our main clinic at Waurn Ponds, delivering comprehensive outpatient medical imaging services across Greater Geelong, the Surf Coast, and the Bellarine.

At RADIUS Imaging, we are committed to improving access to timely, high-quality care. CT scans and ultrasound-guided injections are available with no-wait appointments at our Torquay clinic, helping patients receive prompt, targeted treatment when they need it most. While these image-guided procedures are not new services, our immediate availability helps reduce delays and supports faster recovery and symptom relief.

The Torquay clinic provides a full range of services including CT, MRI, digital X-ray, and ultrasound. With experienced radiologists onsite daily performing CT and ultrasound-guided procedures, reports can be completed quickly and, when clinically urgent, made available on the same day.

RADIUS Imaging has been delivering bulk-billed Medicare-eligible CT scans since 2015 and continues this service at Torquay, in line with federal initiatives to improve access to essential diagnostic imaging for regional and rural communities. Bulk-billed Medicare-eligible MRI services are also available.

Our investment in the latest digital X-ray technology reduces radiation exposure for patients while enabling faster image processing and reporting for referring clinicians.

RADIUS accepts all valid imaging referrals, giving patients the freedom to choose their preferred provider.
